Meet Alex & Pia

Alex and Pia both began their journeys as solo backpackers, starting on opposite sides of the world.

Alex’s first big adventure took him all the way to New Zealand. Unfortunately, the trip was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Not long after, he set off on his next major adventure to Australia—where fate had other plans. It was there that Pia stepped into his life, and from that moment on, their paths became one.

Pia began her solo travel journey in 2019 with her first trip to South Korea. From that moment, the travel bug had truly taken hold. After some time working and saving, she set off again in 2021, exploring Central and South America. Her journey continued across the United States, and she later spent time living in Ireland. Eventually, her travels brought her to Australia—where she met Alex.

Since then, the two of them have been exploring the world together, turning their once separate adventures into one shared journey.
